Trusted Transitions – Lynne McDonald
Lynne has worked with individuals and families in their homes for most of her career.
“I understand a move is stressful for anyone but especially seniors moving from a family home to downsize or to go to a place of care. The countless details, including deciding on what to take or leave, is emotionally overwhelming. Family members may not live close by or be able to take time away from their careers to help. I saw the value of Trusted Transitions services to provide a relocating experience that is based on respect, consideration and care given to the senior client throughout the move and relocation process.”
Lynne has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, with a Certificate in Voluntary Sector and Arts Management from York University. Her background includes thirty years experience in community home health care and administration with the Victorian Order of Nurses. She has held various positions with the VON, in Toronto, Ottawa, Moncton and Stratford, from front line staff nurse to Executive Director of the VON Perth Huron Branch.
Lynne has lived in the Stratford for over 25 years and is involved in a number of community activities and committees. She enjoys curling in the winter and sailing during the summer.
